More than my expectations, the readers have liked this blog about a toilet made of  18-carat gold made toilet (see its pic above), has been stolen from Blenheim Palace, the Oxfordshire, the birthplace and ancestral home of Winston Churchill. Churchill was two times the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This news was carried by almost all the leading newspapers of the world including the New York Times. But leading newspapers of India simply ignored it or some of them, who carried the news did not give it much space and proper display,

But I found this news very important as this 18-carat gold toilet was fabricated in 1945 and installed at Winston Churchill’s palace when Britishers were ruling the Indian subcontinent. The artwork is based on a common Kholer toilet and was created by a foundry in Florence, Italy.. the work's worth was not disclosed, but Ms Spector described it as "millions of dollars' worth"

Pure gold is currently valued at nearly $1, 500 per troy ounce, and 18-karat gold is 75 percent pure, said Peter Pienta, an accredited precious metals dealer in Wakefield, Mass. . Cattelan said the toilet is worth more than $4 million if it were melted down.

When Indians were struggling with poverty and against foreigners' rule, the British PM thought of releasing his shit in a toilet made with 103-kilograms of gold. Shame, shame…… Therefore, I thought, the peoples of the Indian sub-continent, have a direct relationship to this gold toilet, that was perhaps made with money “looted” from India and other colonies of the Britishers. I would not hesitate to compare it with a Punjabi idiom: “chorana nu more pai gaiye” (Booty further looted). I may, add here that I am not unhappy but a bit excited over the achievement of the-smart British thieves-, who succeed in committing the theft from the Churchills family palace, a highly secured place and at a  time, when high-value security cameras, install all over, keep a watch.

According to an official's statement of the police carried in a London newspaper, “The police said in a statement that they were investigating the burglary and that a 66-year-old man had been arrested but not charged. The toilet has not been recovered.”
