Chandigarh: After a two-day massive high-pitched campaign the Home Minister Amit Shan made a tall claim that BJP would achieve the target of 200 seats in the Next year West Bengal (WB) assembly election due in April-May 2021.
After Amit Shah left the state the countries one of the top eminent election strategists Prashant Kishor on Monday claimed on Twitter that the BJP will struggle to cross the double-digit mark in WB assembly polls.
Prashant Kishor is considered among the top pre-election analysis of the country and is known for his pragmatic and near correct election analysis is generally sought after by various political parties before state assembly elections. Earlier, He was higher than Bihar Chief Minister in the 2014 assembly elections. Before that the Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amrinder Singh had appointed him his adviser for Punjab assembly elections.
This time AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi who has won five assembly seats in Telangana Assembly elections has proposed to WB Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for a pre-poll pact with Trinamool, saying that his party will help the ruling TMC defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party in the next year's state Assembly elections.
This time Prashant Kishor has been roped in by TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee to strengthen her party's poll prospects, said that he would quit the microblogging site if the saffron party does any better than what he predicted.
"For all the hype amplified by a section of supportive media, in reality, BJP will struggle to cross double digits in West Bengal, " he tweeted.
"Please save this tweet and if BJP does any better, I must quit this space!" Kishore added.

The saffron party, which recently received a shot in the arm and whose moral touched new heights after political heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari, a TMC MP and nine MLAs joined the BJP camp, made Amit Shah jump to the conclusion that BJP would win over 200 seats in the upcoming WB polls.
In the tweeter war the BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, in response to Kishor's tweet, said the country would end up losing a poll strategist after Bengal elections.
"Given the ongoing BJP tsunami in Bengal; once the new government is formed, the country will have to lose an election strategist, " Vijayvargiya made a different prediction on Twitter.
